Agreed. I can't think of any meds that are safe for pregnancy but not nursing – I wonder if you've gotten some bad info along the way, OP!

I'm very curious as well. When you are pregnant your babys placenta is an additional ORGAN in your body. meds GO STRAIGHT to organs.. thats why most meds should be avoided, even if they are "safe" (one that is "safe" today, could be proven "unsafe" in 10 years... you never know with FDA) but when you nurse the med has gone thru your blood supply, to your milk, thru your babies digestive system... ALOT more filtering. Can you share the drug? And if it was me, if a drug wasn't safe for nursing, I would never take it (unless life depended on it) during pregnancy. then again, I have a child with a congential defect.. So I never take the tiny risks...
