Yeah, I am kinda miserable, when I think about how my mom is flying out this Saturday and will be here all week and I'll turn 42 weeks that week and if I don't have the baby by then...um I'll feel awful.

I am really uncomfortable too. My lower back pain is really bad now.

Okay am I the only one feeling like this???

But on a happier note...my dear dear husband is NESTING. It's so unlike him. He is not one to do laundry or chores!

no, you're not the only one... I'm almost there. I've had a couple of "ok" days this week. but even though my body is showing all the signs, baby is still saying "heck no, I won't go".

That's exactly exactly how I feel...I've been having "I think it's TONIGHT feelings for weeks" and then no dice. Ugh. The only thing that does help is going to see my midwife and their staff...they are so encouraging. The encouragement last for oh maybe 2 days!!

I'm not there yet, but I do remember those feelings from when I was over a week late with my first daughter (I went into labor 9 days late, she was born 10 days late).

You probably won't be pregnant forever. Maybe a little while longer, but not forever. I promise.

If it makes you feel any better. .when I hit that point (33 weeks and some odd days this time around) my water broke 2 days later. Maybe that sign post is your body saying it's almost time.

I had 4 "late" babies- 1-2+ wks past my EDD everytime. It sucks. I was jealous of those who had theirs by 40wks. My body just bakes them longer, I suppose. I actually changed my EDD last time to 6 days later to help me keep my sanity, then I planned to have to wait another week at least (and I did!). My back was killing me with #4- she was a big baby and I carry all out front and it was torture at the end.
Sorry I don't have some great advice. I just know how you feel.

I remember feeling that way with Kate. I was certain she would come around 38 weeks like her brother and then she decided to bake until 40w5d. I told my husband that I was going to be the first woman pregnant forever.

I'm due in two days and been feeling that way for a bit, especially now being so close. I'm happy for all the moms who have their babies, but the jealousy is definatly there. I also plan to go back to work on Nov 1st - so the later I have her, the less time I have to spend with her all day every day and it depresses me. We'll make it through!

hugs...i was lucky...lor was 7 days late but i felt great...i have a feeling if i go that late this time i won't feel as good but who knows.
