Re: Basically it's Tuesday

I gotta get ready for work, but I thought I'd peek in here before breakfast.

@Steph - I have everything out and washed and ready to go for you. We just need to find a box to shove it in.

Have a good first day of school, Ezra!

@Janine - I'm glad things went well.

OMG that romper (and that baby) is total cuteness.

Sorry about the delayed moving, Tricia.

Okay, mamas, I'll be back after I get to the office. Blahhhh. Long weekends make me want to work from home.

Oh well, all of my early sorting and washing was for nill. Avery has a fever and sore throat, so I am keeping her home. I guess it is her turn for the cold that has been going around.

I hope E has an awesome first day of school!

tif-I have your stuff packed up and rtg today, too.

Re: Basically it's Tuesday

After he got the line set and the vaccination injection.

after his nap...not long before he ripped off the hat and the line out of his head.

This morning, the redness has started to come out in his cheeks.

it's getting worse as the day goes on.

His cheeks are very red and blotchy now But I Suppose if that's the only reaction then it's not too bad really. Much better than if his breathing were to be affected.

The doctor told me I dont need to avoid food with "may contain traces of eggs" but to continue avoiding foods that obviously contain egg. He has to go back to have the follow up vaccine....that's the one that scares me. Fynn's doctor told me of a kids she vaccinated after the hospital told her a child had shown no reaction to the first vaccine and it was horrible. The child nearly died. I'm glad the hospital are happy to give him the second vaccine.

See we avoid a lot of stuff because of traces of gluten, lactose and eggs. I dont know how much or even if I agree with the not avoiding the eggs totally. He said the worst that will happen is that Fynn's cheeks will get red and sore if he eats eggs.

There was a doctor (training) who is allergic to a lot of things and says he doesn't remember anything about his allergies from when he was a little boy. But also that he eats a lot of the things he is allergic to now because he want's to enjoy his life and he weighs up the consequences of eating the food to not eating it. He says it doesnt hurt him.

I guess as an adult that's ok if he makes those choices but I have to make the decisions as to what Fynn eats and I cant decide to give him something I know is going to hurt him in any way. If Fynn wants to do that to himself as an adult that is his choice.
