Payment Etiquette?

I am new here, and cannot find any existing post that answers this, so bear with me.

Is there some sort of rule of etiquette for how long a buyer can take to send payment once an amount has been agreed upon and they have requested your PP addy? I noticed (after the fact of course) that some people specify that they expect payment within "x" amount of time. I did not specify, but I would assume that there is some sort of standard so that the seller is not waiting around and turning down subsequent offers.

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: Payment Etiquette?

When I am selling, I typically say that I will wait 4 hours once I have given out my PP address before moving on.
When purchasing, I pay right away. HTH!

Re: Payment Etiquette?

Thanks! That's what I figure. As a buyer, if I say I am buying, the money goes out. Guess not everybody operates on these "rules".

Thanks!
