Re: Knitters/Hookers/Spinners/Dyers •WIP• 9.9.2010

Good Morning Ladies and Tim!

Wow, great score on the WIS. I am glad it went to a good home. I saw it and the "Ode" came to mind as the empty Paypal gets me every time.

I am putting the crochet border on a cute little capelet I am making. I want to post pics, but DH stole the camera for his labs.

Soooooo, today is the first day I have felt the real pangs to have another baby. . . Not sure what to think about that. I really need to wait until next year to get PG. We are supposed to be gone again next summer and I do no want to be in my 3rd trimester or have a NB.
Oh, and I still need to convince DH that 3 is a good number.

Yeah, I'm wondering how feasible it is to convince DH that we should try for #4. I hope you have better luck than I've had so far!

Maria, that is awesome news about daycare!!! I am so glad that more of them are open to cloth.

Hugs on the GD tests. My doc in Austin would give me the drink and note the time as I drank it in the office and then I would head over for the blood draw. That way I could be traveling during the hour. With Ian, I had to sit for the hour and I was stir crazy! But if I had to do it now, I would look forward to knittng for that hour. . . if I could find someone to watch Ian.

That reminded me Beth, I forgot to comment on Maria's news.... which is WONDERFUL! We've been very lucky that Ayden's daycare has always been accommodating with cloth.

Speaking of which (b/c everything is about me, right? ). Ayden started at a new daycare center yesterday and it was also his first day in the preschool room. I was really nervous, but he did wonderfully! He had an awesome day and was very excited that they had French toast for breakfast (one of the foods he will eat).

Gorgeous! All of it . So glad Ayden's first day went well! And that he had something yummy he likes to eat

Maria, congrats on the daycare agreeing to use cloth, that is great!

Good luck with the Dr appts today for all who have them...

I finally CO my first pair of Kirkyard longies last night. I will probably making matching pairs for the babies because I have plenty of yarn and I do not normally make matches of everything but I do like them to have some things that match. Still working on the FR SH also.

I have learned to put in a lifeline before starting a section of a pattern I am iffy about.

All these stories about daycare and cloth reminded me of the one time DS was accidentally send to DC in cloth (by DH). I went there later that day asking about the diaper (which was a brand new swaddlebees only used once) and her DH responded that he threw it out Then his wife came in and said that she saw it, cleaned it and gave it back.....she knew that it wasn't a disposable one, but that I should never bring him there in one again.
