Yeah it is pretty good.(decent) Although most of the time they like to see that 700 mark, but you can certainly get any line of credit with that score

Not really good. You need a minimum of 640 to get on a homeowners loan now, so it just makes the cutoff IMO. Over 700 will get you approved for a lot almost instantly though.

It also depends on what she is wanting the credit for. These days when you buy a house you can have awesome credit and still not get financed unless you have a bunch of money down. When we bought our house, our credit was in the high 500's and we still got financed. Hubbys credit was just from not really having any, and mine went south when I was 19 and had a gazzilion credit cards and a car payment that took me down in a hole...lol
Now my credit is still building, but my hubbys rocks

IDK what our credit score is but I know it's bad. We owe like 20k in credit cards and haven't paid them in about 2 yrs. Our house payment is 4 months behind too.

I honestly dont know a WHOLE lot about credit scores, but I know that DH told me if we ever dropped below 720 thats bad. Last time we got a loan was when we bought our land and our credit score was 800.

i guess she had a bankruptcy a few years back, and is SUPER proud that it is as high as it is in such a short amount of time I guess for having a bankruptcy about 4 years ago that is pretty good, no?

And this site will give you your credit score for free. I've been using it for over a year now just to upkeep on DH's to get him a better one. He went from 560-640 in 6 months with the information we got from there And as far as I can tell.....they don't leave a trace on your credit report when accessing your scores. We applied for a few things (cards for DH, the house; twice because of DH's score, etc) and they've never left a trace.
