That was the girly one, right? No worries there, as I need boyish . The loafers are cute but not quite the right style. I'm actually trying to match this, and loafers aren't quite it (BAD lighting, sorry; they're both black):

Gorgeous!!

I'm frogging my longies; just don't like how they're turning out.

Can I get your opinion on how to finish off one of my bags? It's just a rectangle (stockinette stitch on the back and garter to separate) and I can't decide if I want a knit strap or a fabric one to match the lining (which i haven't picked out yet) Thanks!!!

I had the Ruth's in my queue but the NB size uses sport weight. . Off to read the other two, thanks!

I was going to test but I'm swamped with customs, congos and working on a dress pattern.

I'd like to know too, I have to make a pair for a friend and I'd like them to actually fit a newborn.

Ah yeah, the loafers would look funny with that outfit, the ones Ashley linked would work though.

I think fabric, or you could buy some leather straps to attach, I know our local fabric store sells really cute ones, something like that would be cute.

I would test knit but I think I'm going to try to delve into my holiday knitting in between customs. I looked at my list and I need to get a move on lol.

Yay for the pattern Amy!!

The shrug is so sweet Tina.

Faith if you do the loafers, they will need quite a bit of reworking as I couldn't get them on a three week old's feet. I like the contrast soles of the LeeLee booties!
