What should I make with buttermilk?!?

I bought a quart of the stuff and lost the recipe I was supposed to make. No, I can't even remember what sort of dish it was supposed to be.

So, I never buy or use this stuff, and now I need ideas!

It's really yummy if you use it for your liquid in pancakes.

You can make buttermilk biscuits, pancakes or waffles.

I use it for mashed potatoes... soooooooooooooo good, and lower in calories than if you use reg milk & butter.

Also, buttermilk makes great baked goods, it makes the crumb soft & silky. So try biscuits, bread, pancakes, muffins...

Marinate chicken in it for a while.... it makes the meat so tender and delicious!

this is not super healthy but it works GREAT for fried chicken!!! dip it in that then eggs beat up than in to some crushed up cornflakes with seasoning in them and fry - sooooo good!!
