Can anyone recommend...

A good supportive nursing bra for LARGE breasted women. I'd really prefer not to have to pay $50 for a bra. I am a 38F, and have yet to find a good nursing bra.

Sorry, mama all the good bras I've tried have been quite $$$. Anita usually runs about $60 (but WORTH EVERY PENNY when properly fitted).

Try a small independent lingerie store, they usually have the selection and the customer service to get you a good fit.

43F here---Bravado, looks like a sports bra but works great and holds up well after MANY washes. I got it from a lactation consultant locally here in North Carolina. Only $33. Her website is trianglelactation.com if you want to see examples.

I swear by bravado's They are so comfortable and supportive. No wires, No riding up in the back. And they have a little 'partitioner' inside the middle to keep from smashing them together and getting all sweaty...SORRY TMI

I have Bravados for my 'good bras'. They're super comfortable and have great flexible sizing, so it's not hard to get a good fit. I usually also have a few cheap Motherhood bras around for dressier clothing and when I want something more flattering. I don't like the way my Bravados make my boobs look (like a relaxed sports bra..), so I keep something around for wearing with certain clothes and for when I want to look a little nicer.

Re: Can anyone recommend...

I'm 44 DDD this time around and the bras I love are Bestform...$11 at Wal-mart. I know...I tried some really expensive bras with my first and hated them so when I saw these cheap ones at Walmart I figured I'd give them a try and I loved them. The ones I bought the first time around are going on 3 years of heavy use now (and I machine wash and dry them) and are still in good shape. I'm a little bigger with this baby so I did buy a few more in the next size up but I also still wear the same ones I bought when I was preggo the first time and they are no worse for the wear. At $11 it's worth a shot. You can get them on Walmart's website too. I think the style I like is called "Comfort Sport" or something like that. It's not a sports bra so I don't know why they call it that but they're wonderful! Good luck!
