UPDATE: So the Clear Blue test says Not Pregnant. So I guess evap lines really can be pink. DH got a double pack, though, so I'll probably take the other one in a day or two for confirmation. Now I've just got to figure out why I've been having all these symptoms (especially the nausea ). Thanks everyone!

I'm really confused. I have an IUD and have been thinking about getting it taken out to start trying again and me and DH have been mulling it over. I have been having a lot of pregnancy like symptoms but I thought it was just in my head (you know, thinking about wanting a baby and all). But we're both pretty paranoid and with me having an IUD I have been taking a pregnancy test every couple of days since my symptoms started (maybe about 3ish weeks ago?). They've all been negative with nothing like this until now. I took this, looked at it about 2-3 minutes after I took it, saw nothing, and forgot about it (usually I keep looking until about 10 minutes afterwards then trash it). It was in my room and I got started on laundry and just remembered to throw it out and said, "What the hey, why not look one last time?" and this is what I found...

The line is actually darker pink and more defined (thinner as well) but my crappy camera blurred it. I've never seen an evap line before but I have heard that they are supposed to be clearish or greyish colored so that's why I'm confused. But they line is like, curved, almost like a semicircle (hard to see in the pic) so that confuses me as well. I'm definetely going first thing in the AM to get another one but the kiddos are winding down for bed right now...Opinions please!

ETA: I don't really get periods since I got the IUD...just light spotting occasionally. The only reason I'm so worried is b/c I still have the IUD in!

I'd bring it with you and go and see your doctor. If you are pregnant with an IUD, you'll want to be seen ASAP. Ask for a blood draw to make sure one way or the other.

Do you have another test? I would take another one in the morning with FMU. B/c the one in the pic looks like a BFP to me.

I know!

I'm freaking out over here. My DH thinks it's some sort of evap line, but he hasn't seen it yet (he's at work, he works till 1).

Should I call my family doc (we just got one, I've seen him once so far) or my obgyn (they're the ones that put it in almost 2 years ago now)? Do you think I need to call tonight to get a first thing in the morning appt or wait until I take another test tommorrow morning?

I wouldnt even bother taking another test. Thats clearly pink.

Call the DR ASAP!!!!!!!!!

I was just thinking about it and I don't even know if our new family doc has an after hours answering service...I know the OBGYN does. But, I don't want to call if they're going to say to come in the morning either. Argh, what to do? Will they actually even do anything about it tonight?
