Oh wow, that is scary. Here no baby gets a vaccination before they are 8 weeks old.

Honestly with Fynn in the NICU we stood back and let the doctors do what ever they said they wanted to do. He is a strong and healthy boy now for all the work they did. I fully trust their judgement and am very happy with the care he got and their treatment of me while I was there too.

I can't believe they wouldn't respect your wishes though -unless it's an emergency, you don't do anything here without a parent or guardian's consent.
That's what I thought too. I was always told me what was happening and what the next step was but obviously when Heiner was with me and bringing me down to see Fynn (Fynn got very very sick in those few minutes and started bleeding from his lungs) they handled without talking to us first, it was a matter of life and death and so they did the right thing.

I used President's Choice Organics chicken broth (900ml tetra pak) to make my soup tonight. It's not labeled as containing gluten, but it does have "natural flavours." I had a reaction to something after eating the soup, and I'm afraid that there is something I shouldn't have had in that broth.

Help?? Anyone?

Thanks for being with me ladies in my hour of need. The reaction passed quickly, so I am not too worried. I guess I'll be staying away from that broth now though.

Sigh.
Oh no Mel
I'm so sorry

Dippy thing that I am....with my stoner head..... My camera has just got here and I'm totally overwhelmed by the thing. This is so NOT a point and shoot!

Maybe I should just try and use it..... point and shot first and see what happens.

MIL has helped a bit today by chopping üp winter veggies. They are cooking into a vegetable soup now in the crockpot.

Well I poked and prodded it a bit and adjusted some things I probably shouldn't have and this is my 5th picture. The others are just silly blurry. Also my woolly Wednesday pic

Re: Basically it's Woolly Wednesday!

The baby woke up at about 2 am....she must of had a nightmare or something. She was scared of the covers, her pillow, the print on my dress, etc. I took her to the living room thinking she'd fall back to sleep watching tv....NOPE she stayed awake acting like she was freaked out until 5am!!! I have never dealt w/ a child that small who obviosly had some sort of nightmare??? sheesh.

No I'm running on no sleep and she is crashed on the sofa....

bus stop duty in 10 minutes.

LOVELY colorway you are knitting, Janine!

Re: Basically it's Woolly Wednesday!

Sorry Ana is having a hard time sleeping Peggy.

The yarn is sweet feet from Hill country yarns and the colourway is called Grape crush. I want to like it, I really do but I dont like pooling. Also I looked at other projects with this same yarn and their's look much nicer. But I do need socks and no one is going to see them because once they are in shoes no one ever sees them. Plus It's only my OCD that hates pooling. I dont have to look at it when I'm wearing them as long as I have shoes on so I hope that will be enough to calm me into being able to wear them....or they will be for someone else again

pretty colorway and I don't think the pooling is bad - it looks like an intentional design b/c it is kind of consistent.

Mel, sorry about the reaction to the broth. How miserable.

Peggy, sorry Ana had a bad dream.

Lacie slept great again last night - we were only up around 2ish.

Anyone know of a good swing top pattern? to sew? My mom got some fabric and it would make a cute swing top. one kinda like this.
