OK I am up with fever girl. We are alternating acetaminophen and ibuprofen and it keeps the fever at about 101. It spikes back up about 30 minutes before she can have another dose. She woke up at 5 hot as a blast furnace and higher than a kite. She was being sooooo funny.

You totally could knit socks! I swear they are so much easier than you'd think. You can knit in the round on DPNs and do decreases then you can knit socks and there are soooooo many videos to help with things like picking up the stitches along the heel flap and the toes. Simples!

I think they are more of a casual shoe, for jeans really.

Peggy MH had a terrible nightmare a week or so ago. we used "spider spray" (vinager and water spray) to get all the spiders to go away and it worked.

Poor Fynn has had a horrible day for sleep. He's only just gotten to sleep again. He's been up since 6:20am and then slept for 20 minutes a 11am. I really hope I can keep the girls quiet when they come up stairs in about 15 minutes so he can sleep a bit more.

Not sure how long I'll be able to be on...we've had alternating naptimes here today and this is the first moment they've both been down. DS1 woke up DS2 by slamming his door earlier when he (DS1) was supposed to be going down for a nap, and DS2 returned the favor by screaming loud enough to wake up DS1 when I put him down just now. I told DS1 to go back to bed, that it wasn't time to wake up yet, so we'll see if that works. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Mel, on the reaction, I'm glad it passed quickly. MSG would certainly make sense as a trigger!

Peggy, on your rough night.

Erin, for good sleep! DS2 has had a couple of those nights of only one wake-up, and they're heavenly. Unfortunately for us, DS1 has been up so much with the jet lag that we still don't get to sleep. Last night DS2 only woke up once at 3:15, but DS1 was up at 4, 5, 6, and then for the day at 7.

Janine, for your new camera and new shoes! I love that sock, and I agree with pp, the pooling looks like an intentional pattern.

Melissa, for your mom coming, and on the upset tummy.

I'm going to go fold laundry and straighten up a bit, then enjoy the rest of my iced coffee that I made with what was left in the pot this morning.
