Anyone know if corn starch would hurt pockets?

Our airconditioner broke! It's in the 90's and it will be at least a week until it's fixed $$$$$$$$$$$$$ !! Anyway, William has a diaper rash that won't quit, inside the folds of his legs. I've tried ointment with a spoosie and it actually looks worse. I'm home today sweating and wondered if I should try corn starch? Would it clog the wholes of this fleece?

There was anothe thread about baby powder/cornstarch. I think the concensus was it's okay for cd. Can you let him go naked? He'd probably be more comfy.

I use cornstarch powder or medicated cornstarch powder at every diaper change. After two years I've never noticed a problem, except it does get into the pores of wool. It doesn't hurt the wool, only lightens it a bit. I've never noticed any difference on my prefolds, fitteds, pockets, covers, etc.

I'd let him go coverless as much as possible.

Thank you! I've had him in cotton pockets all morning. He does look better than he did with ointment. I've justed dusted him and I'm using my less special diapers....
