For boys, I have a Tobias, Elijah, Justus and Asher. Justus was actually a man who almost became a disciple, but didn't, but not for bad reasons. I think it's my favorite. Shhh.

I'm not really any closer now I don't think. I feel like God placed a name on my heart earlier this week and so I just prayed about it. I asked God to have DH mention that exact name to me this week if it was His will that we should give our daughter that name. That is exactly what happened with our third and fourth children. With our third child DH brought it up within 3 days. With #4 he mentioned it within 2 hours! It's been 2 days now so I guess we'll see. I'm really feeling patient about it and if that's not her name then I know it will be okay. Even though I really like to know my children's name before they are born I believe DH has it is in his plans to name this baby when he sees her. That will drive me but will also be kind of exciting at the same time.

Has your husband mentioned the name you were praying about yet? Also, I checked out your blog this past week. It was inspiring and helped me really think about how I'm daily raising my children to know and love God.

I have some name favorites from those mentioned in this thread. I have a daughter, Karis; so I love Karis and Grace. I also met a Kyrah recently, which is turkish for Grace as well, beautiful name. I also love Eliana (Ellie for short), and I think Selah is beautiful. Eden is another favorite.

Thanks for reminding me to follow-up on this thread.

My husband did not mention that name so now we are back to the name that he's had since the very beginning, Rebekah. I love the name and have not bad previous experiences with people named Rebekah. However, I don't understand the meaning "to tie, bound." I would love to have some further background on the connotation of this name. But if that's what's on my husband's heart then there must be a reason.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm glad it touched you.

I love the name Zemirah, it is Hebrew for "song of joy."

I love Rebekah. I especially like this spelling of it.
