Yay for dyed yarn!! I have to get going on mine I have 4 more skeins to dye and knit for x-mas gifts and DH wants the Vikings longies made, so those need to be dyed and knit real quick so baby can wear them during the season.

Re: Knitters/Hookers/Dyers/Spinners WIP 10/01/2010

UGH!!! My mom gave me a skein of the lion brand chenille yarn in chocolate brown and asked me to make her a scarf with it. I have started it three different times in different patterns and ripped it out. It is horrible yarn hard to work with and the little fuzzies keep flying around and bugging my nose. My hands are cramping from fighting it.

I'm trying a mobius cowl with it now using a lime green along with it. The problem is while it's being knit up I can't really tell what it is going to look like when I get done. I really hope I don't hate it because I don't want to have to rip it out and do something else with it because I'm really starting to hate this yarn.

Re: Knitters/Hookers/Dyers/Spinners WIP 10/01/2010

Morning! I was sick yesterday so I wasn't able to get on... did I miss anything?

Lynne I can't wait to see the peasant top finished up and modeled by the lovely Mal (you're going to have to pay for his therapy you know! )

Happy Anniversary Blossomgoat!!!

I am just about done with the Ellie's Rainbow SMSS kimono... pics of that soon... and I did some dyeing the other night too... I'll get pics of everything today (hopefully).

LOL, not dumb...how dumb was I thinking I had lost a baby or would see not heartbeat and to end up seeing two little heartbeats?! Obviously by that point I was not feeling sick at all so my ms only lasted about 3 weeks although it was horrible those 3 weeks. Enjoy feeling energized while you do because if you do have twins it will be years before you feel energized again once they are born! LOL

Here's the Meadow Lily...still needs blocking which is why the skirt looks wonky at the bottom:

Poor kiddo...too bad for him he's exactly the right size.

You'll just have to promise to pay for his therapy.

That is just too cute. Maybe you could use it against him for something when he gets older though
