Do You RE USE your Pocket Diapers?

I was recently speaking with another mama by phone and she told me she uses her pocket dipes just once , I thought to myself "why would she do that", I told her I use mine three times if possible. I mean if its just pee and depending on the cd (of course), like I can use a kawaii maybe 2 or 3 times same with bg. Im just looking to get an idea as to what everyone else does.
How many times do you use your pocket diapers?

If you are using them like a cover (with the insert on the top and not in the pocket) I could see reusing them, but I would never just replace the insert (in the pocket) and put the diaper back on my baby. IMO that's kinda gross.

Okay is this some sort of weird spam, b/c I've seen this q's before and it is just weird

If you want to reuse, then use a cover system that you can wipe out at least. Stuffing a used pocket is gross

Uh, once. Are you laying the inserts in and not putting them in the pocket or something?

yeh.....once! if you are laying in a wipeable cover then maybe more. but the suedcloth or microfleece of the pocket will still have pee all over it and goes right back against your baby's bum. that's just gross

If you are using the pocket diaper as a cover, and just laying the insert on top, then you can use it again as long as it is not soiled with poo. That is the basic idea behind AI2s.
BUT! If you are stuffing the pocket and using it like a pocket diaper, you have to wash the whole thing each time it is wet or pood in.
Unless, you want to lay an insert on top for the second change...I have done that when out and about and out of diapers!

But, in general, pocket diapers are only meant to be one time use!

Just once here and I never seen manufacturers instructions advising otherwise.

Once. No way am I putting fabric that has been peed through against my baby's skin.

In an emergency situation I once pulled out the wet insert from the pocket and placed a clean dry (NON MF ) on on top of the pocket in order to reuse it. But I wouldn't restuff.

Yes that was what I was thinking, not using it twice with the same pee in it, like if you used it and then its pee you can put a insert on top and then reuse it and then if anything just the inserts on top again. But when I use the covers that is how I use it, I wipe it down and reuse it and then when its too wet I throw it in my bag! Thanks for not being rude. I am new to cloth diapering and want to make sure I am using the diapers right! :-)
