Fever

I am almost 5 weeks and have had a fever since yesterday (sat) afternoon. It has gotten up to 102.5. It says on the internet that anything over 103 is harmful to the fetus. Short of taking tylenol, what should I do? Do I go to urgent car/ER tomorrow?? I have never had a fever like this during pregnancy before.

If you go to the hospital, they are going to give you Tylenol or ibuprofen. Neither is contraindicated for pregnancy. Save yourself the copay. (Ibuprofen usually works best for fevers around here.) If you really don't want to take a med, go old school: cool showers, cold drinks, popsicles...

Thanks ladies. Talked with OB nurse and she said there is something going around. Just taking tylenol for now and resting a ton. I still feel horrible.
