I need to get some cash so I can get one. Do you use a heavy weight fleece that will be good for overnight? Windpro I think is what it is?

Currently I'm using anti-pill fleece (2 layers through the wet-zone for soakers), which I find acceptable for overnight if the diaper is lightly or moderately damp on the outside in the morning. You will want either 300 wt Windpro if you are dealing with soaked morning diapers OR I can custom-make a night soaker with three layers of anti-pill fleece, which I have done before as customs.

Hi! I love these! BUT...
I am new to cloth (I just started with my 3rd child), so I do not know exactly how to use these. Do you put them OVER the flats? With a snappi? We mostly use pockets. I have been reading a lot about fleece and how wonderful it is to use. Please let me know.

Also how long does it take you to make these?
Thanks!! TAMI

Also I am very new to this site, so I have no idea what BUMP is, or anything

Hi Tami!

BUMP stands for "Bringing Up My Post"; it brings stuff back to the top if people haven't seen it in a while. In the WAHM section, the WAHM isn't supposed to bump more that 2x/day but I think I bump far less

Fleece soakers are pull-on style covers that you can use over ANY type of diaper for as long as it fits. The legs and waist are very gentle b/c they don't contain elastic, yet they do an excellent job preventing leaks/wicking and allow air to circulate to the diaper area. I have some information on my EmotiBums facebook page about the types of diapers that mamas use under soakers. Here is a link:

As far as time to make, right now my turnaround is about one week on customs. Thanks

Can you make a pair of capris, without the sling style extra fleece, but have an extra layer sewn in like your soakers? DD is PL'ing and doesn't like the slings. What would one cost in a size Large? I'm assuming a size Large is right, she wears a Large in your soakers.

You have to have a minimum # of posts to send a PM, I think it's 10 posts. Have you looked at the Diaper Q & A or Extra Fluffy forums? Lots to chat about there You can also contact me through my EmotiBums facebook page www.emotibums.com

I could tack the sling-style extra layer down in a few additional places so it's doesn't shift OR I could put two layers of fleece in the gusseted area -- either way the price for Large capris would be the same ($20). And yes, I'd go w/Large if she fits Large soakers
