I don't think there are any. I'm pretty straightfoward.

Could be though that people think that since I'm fat I've always been this way and I might be lazy. Ive actually been thin (pretty much perfect at a size 8) all my life and this injured/pregnant/holding baby fat thing will be a blip on my life's radar screen in retrospect. Right now though it's not easy to reconcile for me. It's probably just a personal insecurity and nobody cares!

Clients and coworkers at work that don't know me really well think I am 23-24-ish and don't have any kids. They about pass out when they learn I have 4 kids and my oldest is almost 9.5!

b) the STUPID misconceptions about my dreads. Yanno, i don't wash them, i smoke a lot of ganja, im part black.

My age...people always think I'm older. I'm only 20 but people always look at me shocked when I say my age.

That I'm this strong, smart person that has it all figured out and doesn't let anything get in her way. Oh and that DH and I are just the happiest couple around and fabulous parents.

We try real hard but geez, if they could only peer into my brain and spend a day or two in our home. It feels like a lot of pressure. Sigh.....

A few I can think of off hand are:

That I am stuck up or just a jerk. Really I am neither. I am actually really awesome and friendly I just get annoyed easily by stupid people

I am much younger than I am. I am 26 and my oldest is 6 so they think I had her when I was like 13 or something I guess. It doesn't help that my husband is 29 and definitely looks his age so people think he is robbing the cradle.

Growing up people often thought I was well off financially when in reality we actually went for 8 straight months without running water, were on food stamps, and were not allowed to answer the phone because it was always bill collectors that my mom was dodging.

And my all time favorite because I find it amusing is that I am a lesbian. Since I was like 15 people have told me I look like a lesbian. I honestly have NO CLUE why. I guess because I always keep my hair short (above the shoulders but sometimes very short) and my best friend is a gay guy. I just really love gay people and I am very adamant about gay rights because some of my favorite people in the world are gay, I guess that means I must be gay.

I've been told by friends that they originally thought I was a stuck-up you-know-what because I'm really quiet around people that I'm not super close with, but in reality I have pretty severe social anxiety so I'm actually just trying to keep myself calm when I'm around people and I have a permanent running dialogue in my head that people are thinking/saying bad things about me.
