I'm off to bed for the night after having wolfed down two pieces of pumpkin bread. Which isn't quite as good egg-free, but is still awfully yummy. Don't know when I'll check in tomorrow, I have a hair appointment at 9am. I hope the colour turns out well.

Good morning Janine!
Pics of the new hair colour please....I know you hate to do pics on the day but PLEASE, I wanna see.

Morning Mel!

I have one at the very end of December and one at the beginning of January...both terrible if you want to do parties. We rarely do because the kids dont have any friends so there's no one to invite anyway. We just do family parties instead.

Re: Basically it's Tuesday!

I've been so so so busy this morning and now I'm suffering because of it.

Kids up and dressed, lunches made, Derry to speech therapy, to kindergarten, to pick up some clothes (but they weren't there ) and then home.

Straightened up all the beds,
folded all the PJ's,
put away the toys the kids played with this morning....when they should have been sleeping.

Put away clean dishes,
loaded the dish washer,
tidy the kitchen,
swept the floor,
made a loaf of bread
and prepared the chicken ready to roast later.
Washing the diapers.

I really wanted to stop before sweeping the kitchen and doing the diapers but both really really needed to be done.

Now I'm sore but reasonably happy with the progress I made today. MIL told me she plans on going for walks everyday and wants to take Fynn with her. We've talked about the times for walking with Fynn and agree the early morning is best because Fynn wont fall asleep when he's in the buggy....which means I have time to do my house work without Fynn hanging on my feet!

Re: Basically it's Tuesday!

Good morning Janine. Ack. I was NOT ready to get out of bed this morning.

Ru went for her run, I got E's breakfast ready and his lunch packed and I had a bit of breakfast myself. I wish I could get back into bed, but I guess I really can't if I have my hair appointment at 9:00.

I will try to get Ru to take a picture of my hair. I hope it looks okay. I am really hoping that the colour turns out okay.

Sorry that you're feeling shattered Janine, but it's great that you were able to get so much stuff done. Does Derry need to continue her speech therapy? I really hope that Shannon's first day of school on the meds is okay.

Re: Basically it's Tuesday!

Morning mamas. We have gotten everyone ready early with minimal fits this morning. Only some minor squabbles about the clothes. It is clear I will have to remove all short sleeve shirts from their closets soon, so they are no longer a problem.

I went through most of Ian's clothes yesterday, except for what's in the two loads of community laundry I need to do today and he has PLENTY of pants and hardly enough shirts. Sigh. I cannot win. But I can't get any more until I've washed everything and see what he has. Annoying. I guess I'm going to have to hit Old Navy or WM or something and try to find solid LS tees. The good news is I found all but one pair of shorties I was supposed to convert to longies this year. The bad news is I made one pair out of a different brand of yarn and I don't remember what it was. Ugh.

Got to go take the youngers to the store today for a big shop. Bleah. Maybe I will wait and take just Ian after Ginger goes to school....

Re: Basically it's Tuesday!

J woke up feeling nauseous at 5am and came to our bed. He then spent the next hour puking in the toilet, sink, our floor (which is carpet btw) and our bed. I have no clue what it could be and I'm not really worried because he is acting ok now. But now I am feeling sick.

C is SO crabby since she has been up with us since 5. I am I can nap when they do.

Cheryl TCP is having a big sale right now. This past weekend I got J a button down shirt, a pair of jeans, sneakers and 2 shirts for C for only $40!

Hey all.

Jerry does indeed have a bronchial infection again. He is frustrated that this happens now when he gets a cold. He is on a z-pac so I will only need to call to remind him once on Friday and Saturday morning to take his one pill a day.

WOTA...before work:
fold laundry
gather load to wash
dishes
get MH and I some breakfast

get lunch for Jerry and MH and me
get dressed
