Mamas of preschoolers & PLers...

I need some suggestions! My 4 yr old potty trained dd has been having some bowel isseus for a while now (it's a long story but we are getting medical treatment). She's too big for diapers and I don't want to use sposie pull-ups. I would like to find some leak-proof trainers for her to wear, that are super trim under clothes and not very obvious. She's skinny at 40" tall and 35lbs. Any advice would greatly help!! Thanks!!

I've heard good things about these http://www.zoombabygear.com/id43.html but haven't tried them myself.

The Iplay stuff is pretty cute and well made, IMO.

We use these for overnight. I think the only thing that dd doens't like about it is that when she wets, the edging of the trainer gets wet too.

Ruth at snap-ez.com gets great reviews and has larger sizes.

We had luck with the boring old gerber trainers. I think they go up to at least a 4t and they are trim, wouldnt be noticible

hope you find a solution

I am sure that there are wahm;s that will make customs for you too

Our daughter struggled for years. I'm glad you are seeing a specialist. Would a mama pad snapped in her regular panties work? PM me about if you need advise. Our daughter takes 1 tbs of mineral oil and it works really well for her. If she has a blockage nothing will work. I'm sure a good doctor will help her very quickly. Otherwise, we love SNAP-EZ trainers and they come in 4/5 and I think even size 6 too.

Good luck.

I am glad I am not the only one! My son suffers from encopresis and he only has a real BM after we give him a suppositorie. We tried mineral oil, miralax, benefiber, fleet enemas and he sees a GI specialist..it is horrible with the leaking! I hope you get to the bottom of it soon!
We like the snap-eez trainers BTW!

Bummis trainers! Those things run so large I ordered a medium for my 2yr old and they fit my 7yr old, lol!! They would do the trick for sure.
