Fynn's gone shopping for the dinner with Oma so I'm just sitting around doing nothing much. I keep getting stabbing pains in my side when I move so I'm trying to avoid doing that too much.

I'm going to tidy up the living room a bit, watch a film and knit my sock I think.

Poor kids, they all have a cold. The girls are coughing a lot and have snotty noses (well they sniff a lot but their noses aren't running) and Fynn has a rattly chest (but only upper airway for now) and has a snotty nose too.

I haven't read through yesterday's thread, but I did see that Faith had Griffon! Congratulations, and on the anxiety. Give yourself permission to rest and recover and do nothing else.

DS1 and DS2 are both FINALLY down for their afternoon naps. We had some guys coming to install shelves in our bathrooms...they were supposed to be here at 9 but they went to the wrong house (there's one other family here with the same last name, this has happened a couple of times before) and didn't get here until 12:15. Naptime is usually at about 12:30, but needless to say today it got pushed back until the drilling was over. Now I desperately need to clean up this kitchen and go unpack the last box...

It is like 60 degrees this morning It feels good not to sweat while at the bus stop at 7am

Social worker called me last night and asked if I had talked to my sister, & I told her I hadn't since our fight on the phone almost 3 weeks ago....kids are supposed to see their mom today, but no one can get a hold of her to tell her today is the day for the visit. SO...looks like she will not get to see them for 4 weeks instead of 2??? I dunno. you'd think SHE would be calling and asking when she gets to see her babies, right?
