I need a good healing wipe solution or cream recipe

My poor little guy. I just can't seem to get his skin to ever not be red while CDing. I know Desitin and such clogs dipes, and I've only used a water/vinegar/tto wipe solution (not equal parts ) .
Does anyone have any wipe solutions or cream recipes?

Thanks!

I know, I'm starting to feel that too. I have only used it during more clear times though

I would think the vinegar would irritate his bumm even if you were using sposies. I know my hands get red when I use it to clean. Try adding baking soda to a warm bath to help soothe his bumm, then no more vinegar in the wipes solution to see if that helps. I love mylanta on the bumm to soothe acidic BMs especially if they are on an antibiotic, so maybe it will help soothe him as well. Just put a thin layer on his bumm, let dry then put diaper on. I don't know if it affects CD or not, but since it is dry, I don't think it would.

That's cool. I am in fact on an antibiotic right now which is making it even worse for DH :-(
I'll try the Mylanta

If you are on an antibiotic, then chances are it could possibly be a yeast anyways. I think the tto would help that , and I know there are many other natural remedies for yeast, but not sure what they are....

Again consulting the wiser DS mamas....

I'd cut the vinegar too. I used it when my DD had recurring yeast rashes but wouldn't use it without knowing the cause of his redness. And for those wondering about vinegar, the reason I started adding it (less than a Tbsp. to 8-10oz of water) was because when we had thrush someone recommended I use the same solution on my nipples. I figured it would help kill the yeast in her diaper area if it would work on me.

Anyway, how about some olive oil for soothing and healing? My DD is getting over a nasty acidic burn on her bum and the olive oil/Mylanta/corn starch paste I mixed up seems to be helping.

Another thought, could it be possible that he's sensitive to the TTO? Just a thought
