All this talk of all cloth-cloth nursing pad ??

Okay I tried some of these from Penny's when I had my son-hated them. I leak so much (sorry TMI) that it would just run out of them and get everything yucky......But I'm using at least a large size box every 2-3 weeks and throwing them into the garbage

If this time is anything like before-this will continue until he is at least 6-8 months old-so what else can anybody recommend for heavy flow

I have to use the backed sopies or very heavy flow to work

I love love love my wool LANA nursing pads! They are $$ BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY! I have quite a letdown so I got the xtra option. I bought 2 pairs- when one is being washed, I wear the other one. Because they are larger than most nursing pads, they don't leave the telltale ring to show thru my shirt. Plus, they only need to be washed every couple of weeks or so.

I second the wool recommendation. I'm stocking some in my cart at 2 today. And no, not hard to care for at all!

I have two to recommend.

First wool pads by Luxe Baby

Second pads by Lilly Padz

Wool is natural and easy to care for plus the antibacterial properties...gotta love it.

The silicone pads are great especially if you are wearing a top that you can see all lines through

I've looked at the silicone pads a couple times. I've just never known anyone whose tried them. I can't use lanolin so I'm nervous to try and use wool, and I leak through everything else. Do they work well if you have a stronger letdown?

Did I mention that my dog loves to eat these After cleaning up the sopies pads and every darn time I cheat and use a sopie while washing the others-he knocks over the garbage and has a hay day

I have and used the Lilly Padz that I purchased from Mom4Life. She is wonderful and let her know Alaina Frederick sent ya!

I wore them all the time during a overnight trip away from baby and worked great!
I do have to say that I used them at night when baby was sleeping longer and they only leaked after baby slept a record 8 hours and I was SO engorged that there was nothing that would keep me from leaking.

I don't nurse anymore but still have mine waiting for next baby.

I do know someone with a small upper and she uses them to cover her um...self when going braless.
