Help me with some pantry meals!

We're running to the end of the pay period and have no money but some stuff in our pantry.

Help me out here!!

The contents of my pantry:

Some beans (canned) Black beans, pinto beans, northern beans, navy beans

tomatoes with chilies, tomato sauce, corn, green beans, peas, stuffing

Meat we have hamburger, pork chops, some pork roast (I think?)

Help!

I have some pork chops left over from last night I was thinking something with pork, rice & beans? Maybe cheese (we have cheddar and co jack) I was thinking maybe cutting the pork chops up (we only have 3) tossing them with some rice adding the beans and tomatoes w chilis and topping it with cheese and baking it? Sound gross??

I think the pork chops cut up with rice sounds good.

I'd definitely make chili.

I would make fried rice with the pork chops, rice and peas then you can have chili the next day and not have all Tex-mex flavours.

Pork roast with the stuffing on the side and the green beans.

Re: Help me with some pantry meals!

Okay...we had this cheesy pork thing I pulled off the back of the stuffing box but tweaked. It called for ham cubed, I browned the pork chops just a tad in olive oil and then cubed them and mixed them

(if anyone wants the recipe: 1 package pork stuffing, 1 3/4 cup HOT water, 3 cups cubed ham (I used 3 good sized boneless pork chops it only ended up coming to about a cup and a half but it worked), some frozen broccoli, thawed, drained (we had some on hand), 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup 3/4 cup milk (or homemade white sauce!). Mix the stuffing and water until moistened, in a baking dish combine ham and broccoli and soup and milk, top with prepped sufffing) bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until warmed through (I covered it and cooked it longer since my pork chops weren't cooked fully)

Tomorrow we'll do chili

Tuesday I might try making beans and beef with the chili tomatoes rather than salsa...

Wednesday we'll do breakfast (always a favorite here...we always keep biscuits and bacon on hand)

Thursday I can go shopping!!! Hooray!
