What are you taking to wear at the hospital?

I always have lots of visitors (even when I'd rather not...), and for ONCE I'd like to look semi-cute, as much as I can anyway. I am having a hard time finding some cute maternity pjs, though...most of them just look really momish, you know? So what are you going to wear in the hospital? Do you bother with looking cute, or just go with whatever is handy?

I just wore the hospital gown and changed into very comfy clothes to leave the hospital. I think this time might bring nursing tanks and comfy pants to wear.

I always get myself 1 or 2 new pair of lounge pants either from old navy or target. Whatever fun prints they have in flannel or fleece. And I get a few tanks with the shelf bra built in cause its easy to pull them down for nursing. And I have my labor knee high fun print socks and than I change into my delivery socks.

I got myself a couple pairs of black yoga pants and some super cute nursing t-shirts. Once DD was born and I was showered a couple hours later, I changed into those and just lounged around. I looked presentable.

Old Navy has really cute pj's! You can also find lots on clearence too! I am bringing some yoga pants and a few tank tops and then a maternity sweater so I can cover up if I get chilly.

Re: What are you taking to wear at the hospital?

With my csection all I could wear were hospital gowns at first. I changed into pajama pants before leaving. But I figured people were too focused on how cute my baby was to notice if I was looking cute or not right after I had him.

This time I will take pajama pants and nursing tanks again.

Comfortable knit pj/yoga pants, nursing tank (or bra and belly band) under a top. I wore a short sleeved top and a hoodie. It is always cold in the hossy, but hormones would make me hot, so layers were a must!
I refuse to wear the ridiculous hospital gown after my initial clean up after delivery. Those things are hideous.

Re: What are you taking to wear at the hospital?

I am planning on wearing "regular" clothes during the day. Probably yoga pants, and nicer tops, and at least ane dress. Plus a cute coming home outfit.
