Re: 10 weeks, no heartbeat, what can I expect?

Thanks everyone for your words and support. I go see a doctor tomorrow to have another ultrasound to confirm everything and during that visit I'm going to ask about a d&c. I would like to let it happen naturally, but I live alone with my 7 year old daughter and if it started happening while she was awake I know she would freak out, plus it's not something you want to do alone if there are complications. I did tell my mother last night and although it was hard she said she would be there for me no matter what time of day or night. I have been having some mild cramping and very light bleeding but only once in awhile and on Saturday I did pass one small clot but that's it so far. I will let you all know what happens tomorrow. Thank you again for your support.

I'm waiting too mama. All alone with two small boys. IDK how long I can go without doing a D&C, but its my last resort

HUGS to you mama. I completely understand your pain.

Re: 10 weeks, no heartbeat, what can I expect?

I am so sorry for your loss. Did your MW give you any pain meds? The following is a bit graphic, but is my experience with a natural miscariage at 11 weeks.

I had a natural m/c at 11 weeks (baby measured about 9 weeks). Luckily it only was a few days from when I found out via u/s to when my body actually miscarried, so I didn't have to wait long. I basically went through labor. It was intense cramps that came periodically and slowly got closer together. I had taken 2 vicadin per doctor's orders and still was doubled over on the bathroom floor in pain. I also remember getting crazy hot flashes. After a while I had this overwhelming urge to go to the bathroom. I sat down on the toilet and the minute I sat down I passed everything into the toilet bowl. There was a lot of blood, and I could see the sac and fetus. After passing everything the pain got a bit better. For the first day I was filling an overnight pad every 2 hours or so. The next few days it was like a heavy period, then a few days of regular flow followed by a few light flow days, then it tapered off to nothing.
