Any big weekend plans??

DH and I are going over to my parents. It's my mom's 50th birthday today! I have cut out 50 hot pink storks from construction paper and we are taping them to their front deck and I'm making cupcakes and got a bunch of people to go out for dinner. Should be fun...if my little trouble maker is a happy baby/ Lol
She's been cranky the last few days since her shots and not eating as well...not sure if it's the shots or the tongue tie bothering her more??

Also, I just found out yesterday you couldn't use rash cream in CDs?? lol Good thing I found out then...cause I'm starting to cloth diaper today. Washed/dried all my new dipes 3 times!! So, what do you cloth diapering ladies use on LOs bum??

Hey 3girlsandcounting/ Kristina! Glad to hear I'm not alone in KW! Our kids are very similar - are you on a Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs kindergarten schedule? Maybe we can meet up sometime and talk dipes etc.! What are you using in your stash?

Mambird - thanks for the welcome! For cream, I've been using coconut oil - I read on here that it is safe for CDs. I found some at a local natural food type store at a great price and so far so good. When I need something stronger, I've got some cut up fleece that I line the dipes with. As for weekend plans? We going skating, ferrying kids around, and I'm making another pair of recycled longies!

So just for fun, what is everyone's favourite diaper (brand/specific print)
My favourite wahm diapers are Klb's Cozzybunz. They fit my dd great, and the mama who makes them is fabulous.
My favourite "big brand" diaper was Dream-eze, but they have been discontinued

50blueberries - there is a canadian retailer that sells bottombumpers. I think they are called "More Than Cloth Diapers".

mamasalma - I love your shop. I've ordered from you a couple of times

mamabird - cute costume!! We haven't had to use any diapers creams. My dd's bottom is barely ever red, but the odd time that it is, a little airing out (1/2 hour) clears it right up.
You could use diaper cream if you use a liner, but just make sure to wash the liners seperately afterwards.
