"So you don't need to buy anymore diapers after this, right?"

Is what my husband said to me tonight.

I've been on a customs waiting list for a few months now and haven't shut up about it. I'm spending about $300 and my poor husband thinks I'm crazy (he's just not use to it being spent ALL AT ONCE... but trust me, I've spent my fair share on cloth in the past 4 years of CDing, LOL).

I told him, "Well, I'll have 16 one size, 4 mediums (fitteds), and then I have 12 of your diapers (BGEs)... I guuuuuuuuess I don't need more..."

But don't worry, I make a quick recovery. I told him I still need A LOT more wool

Man, I wish I could get 25 OS fitteds instead of just 15! I have 2 in cloth!

My husband just said, "I'd love it if we only had one type of diaper, in one color." And I responded, "Honey, cloth diapering ladies use the diapers to express themselves." He smiled and said, "Oh." He "lets" me buy whatever I want or think we need for our munchkin, but he definitely looks confused by me at times. I hope your diapers pu a smile on your face. And happy hunting for your wool.

omg my husband has said this...and then a package arrives in the mail! I have said I needed more for daycare to have some while others are in the wash. I then needed a solution for overnight when DS had leaks. Now I need another excuse!!

Lol! My DH said this to me once in the beginning of our cloth diapering days when we got our first dozen diapers. As if 12 diapers would be enough!! He doesn't say it any more though because he realizes that this has now become my hobby!

hehe...I moved on to wool once I could not justify anymore diapers! But I'm sure in a few months he will forget and I can get some more and change the stash around a bit
