Help QUICK!!! A good cheap pump????

Geoffrey won't stop biting me and it's killing our nursing relationship. Both of us are scared and he won't quit biting me. I am in tears right now becuase he hasn't nursed all morning. I have to go out and buy a pump, but I don't have much money. I want to get something that will work well...any suggestions??? TIA!

In my experience I would steer away from the cheap battery or plug in pumps that are cheap. Avent makes a good cheap ($30) manual pump. Isis I think is the name. Hope that helps!

I have an evenflo dual pump with battery or plug in option. I think it was $50 at target. It took me through pumping every 3 hours for 3 weeks when my first dc was in the nicu, then occasional pumpings that year and this year. I've had very good luck with it.

Re: Help QUICK!!! A good cheap pump????

I used the Avent ISIS exclusively when I pumped. It worked great for over a year with both boys. I'd highly recommend it.

Your own two hands! Seriously if you just need to express a bit for relief it is so easy. Just massage the breast with the fingers of one hand while supporting it with the other hand.

Avent ISIS.
I work full time, and sold my double electric to use the ISIS.

sorry about the biting. It will stop, don't let it burn you too badly!

ITA on the ISIS. I only had to use it a few times for DD, but it worked, and it didn't hurt me at all.

The Medela Harmony is also a very good manual pump. My sister has the Medela double electric and she said she got as much out with my manual as she gets with hers! It only costs $30. I've been using it for the past 7.5 months without a hitch!

I have a Medela Harmony too and I love it. It also fits a standard size bottle, whereas the Avent Isis only fits on Avent size bottles. So thats a plus.
