Quick Qs Regarding the Cosco Scenera

I have one for my dd. It is installed rf. I noticed that the front bottom can either be pulled out or folded in, which is it for rearfacing. I do not have a manual. Here is a pic of my seat, you can see the part I mean along the front. My cousin told me it was out for rf, I am not sure though.

The foot that folds out is the one at the back of the seat--the plastic lip at the front is stationary. You are correct that the foot needs to be flipped up toawrds the seat while it is RF otherwise it would be too upright
