How do I freeze..........

I am 8 months pregnant and have an 11 month old i keep thinking I should make a few things and freeze them for when baby comes.
But I am unsure how a few things will freeze if I even can.

I plan on doing lasagna - that one I can do no problem

But what about shepherds pie? I am afraid the potatoes would separate - is there a way to do it?

Chicken noodle soup?

What else is easy and good to freeze?

Thanks

I froze shepherd's pie before and it was fine after.
Pasta sauce is always good too. quick pasta night that way
sweet n sour meatballs with extra sauce. We eat it with rice after its thawed.
Soups are good too, lots of kinds.
Chicken pot pies...

making myself hungry lol

I don't know if noodle soup would free well, depends how you make it. I do mine with fresh egg noodles and don't think that would cook then thaw well to reheat but regular pasta would. Or just leaving out the noodles until you heat it would be fine.

You can also just take a look at your frozen foods section at your grocery store to find out what meals and foods freeze well.

Re: How do I freeze..........

I did this when my daughter was due. I was trying to be organized so I cooked all of the ground beef things (Lasagna, meatballs for spaghetti, sweet and sour meatballs, and sloppy joes), then planned to make chicken and more. The only problem was that my daughter came early, so all I had finished was the ground beef things I had planned. We were really tired of ground beef early on in my daughter's life! So, I would recommend mixing it up with your cooking order!
