Re: what was the FIRST dipe and cover you put on your dc?
LOL! It was a Kissaluv fitted under a pair of newborn size longies I knitted. I thought the KL was waay to small on my 6 pounder
(I used sposies for dd#1 and assumed cd's should go half way to the arm pits also) So not knowing any better - I sold my whole set of KL's on ebay that week. Then I tried some Mutt fitteds because the outers were cute and I didn't love the bubblebutt on such a small baby. So I switched to all pockets til recently. I still laugh thinking those KL's were too small because of the rise - now I know that she probably could have used them for months! LOL

Re: what was the FIRST dipe and cover you put on your dc?
First dipe ever was a small snap-ez and it was still too big on him. When he was first born, a small FB would have gone clear up to his shoulders!! lol. He was TEENY!

Re: what was the FIRST dipe and cover you put on your dc?
A prefold and prowrap cover. I had no idea that the ammonia on the skin caused rashes. Needless to say, she got a HORRIBLE burn rash after being in the diaper for only 2 hours. I felt aweful. Then I discovered fitteds and fleece liners....lol.....
