My Mood:
Extended Breastfeeding Help Needed...

"Gawks not coming, Mama."

Gawk=milk

These words almost made me cry. The other morning (after a complete night of sleep) Avery came in like she does every morning and asked for gawk. She nursed for a few minutes then said that to me. I had her try the other side and she seemed happy. So now I keep asking her when she is nursing if it's flowing and she says no.

I can express a little. Haven't tried to express anymore then a few drops. Is it possible that I am not storing milk anymore and just kind of making it as needed? Could it be coming out, just not as fast as she would like? I dont feel letdown anymore either. I used to always feel my letdown. They both nurse (at the same time most of the time) 2 to 4 times a day.

They are now 3.

After never EVER having a supply issue (the opposite actually) I would hate supply to be the reason they quit nursing. What should I do? Let it be? try to increase my supply?

TIA
