Re: Basically it's Woolly Wednesday!

Morning mamas. Love the outfit, Janine, even if it's girly handmedowns. We have a lot of that tomfoolery here.

Ginger's doing better. No more vomiting, and she keeps asking for food and milk. I told her she has to keep bread and water down first. I'm still suspicious of the snack. It definitely does not seem like the tummy virus our friends had, not nearly as violent or bad.

So today I gotta make Rosie's cupcakes for her class. I need to catchup on laundry and such. I want to try out my new mixer.

But first I need more coffee...

What a fun visit Jen. I love those kinds of visits, its been a while since we had one.

Janine, you are so right on the head sizes. Rosie already has a 20" head since she gets her melon from me. Ginger's is pretty close if not the same, although I haven't measured it. When I did the hats for my neighbor, I eyeballed it and managed to guess the exact right size and she was amazed. She said her kid, although small, had a big head - she thought 18" was big for a 5YO head, LOL. I'm willing to bet you can make hats of all sizes and Jen can find someone that it fits.

Jay left for Missouri this morning On the up side though, my ILs got into town yesterday so hopefully that will relieve a little pressure on me

Corbin's been whining since 6:00 about his missing "guy", so it looks like I'm going on a guy hunt shortly. blah. Can't kids just take care of their stuff?????

Happy Bday Mel!

Peggy, they probably can and even if they "Can't", they can always say they came to see someone else and visited him while he was there too. Ugh.

It's snowing! Rosie is beyond excited. Not getting the reaction from the youngers I expected tho. Maybe they need to see more on the ground to get excited.

I would have been done a long time ago.

I would just tell your case worker like "listen, I'm not doing this because it's something I want to do or am passionate about. I'm doing this because I love these kids and they needed a home. If you guys want to keep burning me, I'm done. If you want these kids to back to their drug addicted parents instead of being in a safe home with me than so be it. But I will not allow you to ruin me in the process."

You are an awesome person and mother, those kids are better off for just having spent several months with you. You did the best you could but don't allow this system to ruin you and your family.
