Growing pains?

At what age do growing pains hit?

My DS is 6 and since yesterday he has been complaining that his hip area hurts. Theres no "owie" and he hasn't fallen or taking any spills in the last few days.

Could this be growing pains? How long do they last?

yes, it could be growing pains. some people believe that this is a myth, but it really isn't. has he gone thru a grow spirt? cause all growing pains are is when the child's bones grow fast. this causes the muscles to stretch too fast. growing pains can happem really at any age.
