Re: EF KAL week one (dec 1-dec 4)

Hey everyone! Just finished a pair of toddler longies for my friend, and just started another pair of large longies for my friend Lindsey of Juddy Duds Prettiest colorway from Yarnoodles, can't wait to see how it works up! And my first time trying an elastic waistband. So:

Re: EF KAL week one (dec 1-dec 4)

ok...so, after row 13 I do the following...

2 more row in garter stitch

THEN...

I knit 20, bind off 14 (meaning they will no longer be on the needle), knit 30 bind off 14,knit 16. So I have 3 sections with spaces in between...

what does Put the Front and Back B sts. on holders . I know it sounds obvious, but do I take them off the needle and put them on a new needle? again with the obvious...Change to MC and size 7, 16 in. needles

Re: EF KAL week one (dec 1-dec 4)

Ok here's what you need to do...

Use a spare piece of some other colored yarn as a stitch holder. Thread this crazy colored yarn onto a darning needle and then take and put the sitches it says onto it. So you'll have two separate "holders"...

You are only going to be knitting one of the three portions at a time... so you will then using the needles you have already knit onto the new needles... meaning knit the stitches so that they do onto the new needle on the right...

So my next ridiculous question. On ET pattern it says to CO main color. So I Co in my body color which is solid blue. Then I did the next 4 rows in the same color, but isn't this the yoke? I wanted the top colorway and the body to be solid. Did I do this wrong already

I asked about this yesterday and I think I did it right...I CO in my accent color (I am using a colorway on the yoke and bottom and then solid as the main color)
