Re: You can throw tomatoes at me, but still want your input! ;) Disposable dipes...

My heavy wetters usually wear a Sandy diaper with a heavy duty diaper service quality prefold (absorbs 25+ ounces), which is the only thing we've found that is virtually leakproof. When travelling and cloth is not an option, the best thing we've found is Huggies Overnight Pull-ups, not the diapers.

Thats exactly what I had to do for Ds#1 he could pee out of anything. When Dd started doing the same I used the Huggies overnights again, she didn't need the doubler though, then she lightened up with age so we went to an overnight hemp and wool

we use Walmart brand sposies when we need to... and we have used these:

When he would suddenly be soaking through it all...just like a doubler in a cloth diaper, we just fold it in half and put it in the "zone"...never had a leak when using a sposie with this overnight...good luck!

OH...and thats the big bag...I usually get the smaller one, it has like 20 in it, and its $3

When I have to use sposies, it's Pampers. Sometimes Huggies.

Could you use a sposie then a wool soaker over it?

God bless!

Night leaks with sposies was actually one of the reasons I switched to cloth. When we traveled for nights I used a sposie with a hemp doubler and fleece liner on top. That took care of any leaks

I used to use pampers ( without dry max) or huggies snug and dry. Both worked great.

When we're using disposables for nighttime (like we are now), we use the size up Nature Babycare at nights, or the size he's in with a flip disposable in it as a doubler. In a pinch a put a cloth doubler in a sposie one night and it worked but man it REEKED I agree with PP; try wool over the sposies? (we've done that a few times, until we figured out that it wasn't necessary if we sized up or used a doubler).
