Bummis super brite vs super whisper wrap

What is the difference? They look the same (except they come in different prints) so why the distinction. Which are better? Thanks!!

The most significant difference is that super brites have leg gussets. Also, the whisper wrap is a slightly roomier fit-its cut a bit wider and the super brites seem to be a little bit thinner/lighter PUL.

Which is better is really personal preference. They are both great covers and hold up really well. A lot of people prefer the gussets especially for containing infant poo.

Yep. All of that. The super brites also have wipeable PUL.

I prefer the super brites (except the whisper wraps have cuter prints)

the super brites have wipeable PUL, and have gussets, the NB is also tiny so it is actually good for newborns unlike a lot of covers that are NB sized. i, however, like the fit of the whisper wraps better. the gussets on the super brites leave marks on my kiddos

I have both and like both, they both have their place. I like the small super brite right now over the small sww in how they fit on my LO.

Re: Bummis super brite vs super whisper wrap

The Super Whisper has sandwiched PUL and the Super Bright has wipeable PUL and gussets. I like the feel of the SW but it gets wet and stinky so I find I obviously can't reuse the cover more than once usually. I do really like the fit and provided you have enough covers, it's a non-issue. The SB runs a bit smaller and you can wipe it down since the PUL is exposed. I prefer the SW.

Re: Bummis super brite vs super whisper wrap

I picked up a couple extra small BSWWs for the new babe and they do seem like a pretty wide cute for a tiny one (although I've liked them in bigger sizes.) It does seem that everyone raves over the fit of the super brite for newborns. Hopefully I'll be able to add a couple!

Superbrites fit better on a tiny baby b/c they're cut more narrow. But the gussets are leaving some nasty red marks on my lo. She has super skinny thighs too

Re: Bummis super brite vs super whisper wrap

I have thirsties covers and a superbrite. Both have gussests. But, for my DS, the thirsties covers leave a red mark where the gusset attaches at the front hip. I do not have this problem at all with my superbrite cover because the gusset attaches to the main portion higher. Not between the legs. I prefer the superbrite over my thirsties.

I also have a BSWW. I don't like the "roomy" fit. It hangs really low between DS's thighs. Very strange. I hate that it can't be wiped clean. But, since I dislike it, it's for the best, that I can't re-use it as much as my other covers between washes.
