Has anyone used a Middle Ear Monitor?

My oldest gets a lot of ear infections, so I was thinking about getting this:

Has anyone ever used one? What do you think?

Re: Has anyone used a Middle Ear Monitor?

I have not used this before, but I do have an otoscope like th is one http://www.babyproofingplus.com/item2204.htm , not from here though. I learned to tell what looked like an infection starting, so I could get my kids to the dr before it got bad. My kids never complained about their ears, infections were only caught after they ran a fever and the infection had gotten pretty bad.
The ear thing you posted looks neat, I wonder how accurate it really is?

My son is the same way, he will only start complaining when his eardrum is about to burst or when it has already burst! Ouch!

It looks like it would be nice to have but I'd want to get ore feedback before I bought it.

Thanks for the response!

I've been thinking of getting one as well and that is a way cheap price!
