I have used them with both my previous pregnancies and gotten BFPs at 9 and 10 DPO
I think some women just take longer to build up the pregnancy hormone, I doubt the test has anything to do with it. Unless it was one of the defective batches.

The tests all have to meet very stringent accuracy requirements just to be sold, so they will almost never give a false positive, but will commonly give a false negative. I used Dollar Store test 9 dpo and it worked fine, but I already knew I was preggo from other symptoms.

Sorry AF found you!! The Dollar Store tests are actually very sensitive. I just got a positive today at 11/12 dpo (unsure) and with my son got a positive at 12dpo. Great tests for very little money!!
