not sure if i should be concerned *update post #7*

I've had really random bh for weeks now but tonight they are like every 4min an lasting a min. An I have period type pain in my back an feel super pukey. I don't know if I should be concerned. I never dealt with any of this with my dd my water broke in a huge gush then I had contractions. Im 36 weeks

are they consistently at 4 min each time? Or are they varying? If you are having more intense contractions and they are steady and not all over the place in frequency then I think you need to call your dr or midwife.

They are 2 min then 4. I guess im just worried about jumping the gun.

The one thing I noticed even when my BH were "regular and consistent" is that the intensity stopped somewhere between my belly button and pubic bone. I was finally able to distinguish them from the real thing when I was in labor with my second DD.. the contractions went all the way down from the top of my uterus to the end of my cervix.. I was able to feel my cervix contracting.

That's really the only thing I can think of to help distinguish your BH from the real thing.

I was about to type up the signs of preterm labor but then I saw that you posted about a week ago. Any news? Did the contractions stop?

Just wondering if you found out what it was. When I had this happen I ended up having a bladder infection. So def. call your care provider to get it checked out if you haven't already!

Well I held out until next appt. Im supposed to be a scheduled c section on jan 11. He told me this last monday that if I have bh or whatnot for an hour to call. Well yesterday an today im having ridiculous pressure an sharp pains through my girly region. And about everytime I get up I have back pain or cramps. I can't decide if this warrants a call.

I had a month of prodromal labor with intense contractions every 20 - 2 minutes and lots of 'girly' pain (I spent most of this time in tears, wondering why baby hadn't arrived yet). The only difference I noticed when it 'actually' started happening was rectal pressure during contractions. Pain and intensity wise, it was the same until I was in transition.
