The world formula often catches my eye so I came to see what up.

Am I the only one who doesn't notice adds? They are there but I don't notice them for some reason.....

I hadn't noticed any ads before now except for those that I accidentally roll across and they take up my entire screen.

I don't understand why the formula ads bother anyone. No one is bringing the product to your (general) house and making your (general) baby drink it. It's just an ad plain and simple. Why not complain about the toy ads that's been featured too. My kids see it when I'm on the site and scream for each one. Maybe we should be mad at Target for having that caveman featured or the guitar that some child will beg their poor parents for. I don't usually get involved with these threads. But sometimes, enough is enough of petty complaints. Why not just block the ads and move on if it bothers you (general)?

I like this idea. So many worse things in the world to gripe about.

Mmmm didn't see it posted anywhere that this wasn't a BF friendly site.
I was under the impression that the primary focus of this board was well.....cloth diapering

Re: Similac ads

can't it be BFing friendly without being BFing nazi? this is a parenting board for (what i assumed any) all types of parents. i've seen way worse ads on here. anyone remember the ones with half naked women? oh and that horrible dell ad.

aaaaaaaaand cant it just be friendly in general? afterall, this isnt a breastfeeding site it is a CD site. we should be friendly to both formula feeding moms and breastfeeding moms. not everyone has the same circumstances

Re: Similac ads

Wow - if this is our biggest concern, we have it pretty good! I have an ad blocker so I don't get to see all the ads - I might have to turn it off, sounds like a good conversation starter!
