Have you tried fenugreek or blessed thistle?

A great alternative to formula is Goat's milk. It sounds weird, but has more fat content than formula (which is what our ped griped about until I showed her.) Its also the closest milk to human milk, so its relatively easy to digest. We used this for our DS after he weaned himself at 9 months.

where do you get this? I don't remember seeing it in the regular grocery store, although I never LOOKED for it either but I think I would have noticed it. DO I have to go to a healthfood store.

DS switched from formula to full fat milk at 10.5 months after checking with the doc and he was fine. Reason in our case was that he suddenly refused to drink his formula but wouldn't really each much yet (he's a very picky eater still..).

We started switching ds from formula to whole milk around 10-11m but only because there are NO milk allergies in our families.
