What are your favorite nursing pads?

Both sposie and reusable? When DD was born 4 years ago, I loved Lansinoh sposie pads. But I'm sure there are also newer things on the market that might be good.

What are your favorite nursing pads?

Re: What are your favorite nursing pads?

I have only loved Lansinoh... I tried some new one's and I literally fill them up and they smell... I think they are Ameda? and the only reason I am not returning them is because I'm too lazy to head back to BRU...

Oh, and I'm not a fan of resuable one's, I think they show thru my clothes too much... but that's just me!

Re: What are your favorite nursing pads?

Some people hate them, but once I stopped leaking huge amounts, I preferred Gerber washable nursing pads. They are easily purchased at Target in a 6 pack. They are thin, and don't curl or buckle around the edges, so they don't show thru shirts like other thicker pads. For the first few weeks, I wasn't just leaking, it might as well have been a full stream. I changed pads every couple of hours. By 4 months, I didn't need pads at all anymore.

Lansinoh are still the best sposie pads. I'm a over-active let-down mama with a very large supply, and these are GREAT. They are expensive though. Gonna be watching this hread to see if some cloth pad users show up! I've been thinking of trying some.

I agree that the Lansinoh sposies are the best. They never show through my clothes and they absorb lots but don't feel wet. Love em.

Re: What are your favorite nursing pads?

I have used the medela reusable ones (bought at babies r us) and loved them! I just got them out of the wash and layed them flat so they didn't "scrunch" up
They soak a ton and I used them at night two! Since I now nurse two I don't have enough to leak I guess but I LOVED them when my first one was born

Lansinoh sposies, definitely.
With ODD I moved to the gerber reusables from Target after about 3.5/4 months, and I did fine with that since I wasn't hardly leaking at all at that point. With YDD, she is SO not on a schedule yet... I still can't get away with the reusable ones, I leak too much at unpredictable intervals. So, Lansinoh it is.

I agree with everyone- Lansinoh sposies are the only way to go if you have strong let-down!!! I think I've tried every other brand in an attempt to find a cheaper option, but I always go back to Lansinoh.

I use homemade reuseable ones. I've hated all the disposable ones I've tried.
