Help me figure out my sore nipple problem!

Okay, I can't figure out if my sore nipples are from thrush, my plugged milk duct problem, or my periods. I got my period back at about 8 weeks PP. DS is five months. I am regular and I just can't figure out if this soreness is from hormone changes. I have sore nipples, and my right does burn sometimes, but that is the side that is latch in not very good on. Also, when I treat with GSE it literally feels like my nipple is burned. Its way worse than just the sore nipples. Does anyone else have sore nipples like this?
