15mos & PLing...is this possible??!!

That's right...my ds who just made 15 mos has been tugging at his dipe in the bathroom and then peeing whenever he's put on the potty!! Is it possible he's ready to PL? What about my (his ) cd's!!

I guess this means I may need to get him a potty, are there any fitteds that would be easy on/off? We mainly use pfs/pins and they don't seem too PLing friendly.

Its possible! My friend's 15 month old is very precocious (sp?) and he's starting to make connections between his potty, his diaper, pee, poop, etc. He's interested - he'll sit on it and read LOL. His mama still thinks it will be quite a while, but she thinks he'll probably PL sooner than what's typical.

I would get him a potty. You never know!

My cousin had potty trained herself by that age. She would drag the potty into wherever everyone was sitting, and procede to rip off the diaper and use it. I know my aunt had a hard time finding tiny panties to fit her she was very petite.

Re: 15mos & PLing...is this possible??!!

My oldest DD was starting to PL at that age. She would have BMs on the potty with out fail at that age. By 18 months she was done. Her sister was 19 months... (not bad for a child with a cognitive delay, but she hated diapers, hated pull ups and hated to be wet, so she learned REALLY quick.)

My Step-mom was cruel the other day. I showed her some PUL I bought here on DS that has bats, for DD's birthday diaper (she was born on Halloween.) Step-mom said but she won't be in diapers come Halloween. Yes she will she will be 12 months old then if she is like her sisters I will have 6 more months to CD. If she is like her brother I will have 24 more months...

But man that was a sad thought no more cute diapers as early as 18 months...

My DD would have trained at 14 months but we were about to move. I waited until we were settled in our new house and she trained in a weekend at around 17 months.
