I like vintage cookbooks in general. IMO newer cookbooks try too hard to try to make "exciting" recipes that just end up being things that no one in the house will eat.

I use a Betty Crocker from the 60's a lot. It has great recipes for rolls. I also have the cooking encyclopedia from Better Homes and Gardens from the 70's which is great, along with their pies and cakes cookbook. A Julia Child French cookbook, I'm not sure what year. It looks old.

For desserts, the Hershey cookbook is by far the best I've tried.

I don't have a vegetarian cookbook, but I've been wanting one.
