I'm 5 months post-partum and nursing. I've been taking the mini-pill since about 6weeks pp.

In the past month I've started to gain weight (even though I'm now doing cardio 2-3x week). I now weigh as much as I did after coming home from hospital. Also about a month ago I quit taking my anti-depressants.

Anyone else have experience with minipill and weight gain? Idon't have any supply issues/worries at this point. Should I try to switch to something else?

No sorry, I've been on it for 5 months as well and I'm still losing weight breastfeeding. Is it possible that it has more to do with stopping the anti-depressants? How much have you gained, is it possible you're just building a little muscle from the cardio or is it, like, 10 pounds?

Weight gain is even less common with the mini pill than the regular pill...

I'm no help ether but lots of hugs. I might need to go on the mini pill so I'm curious too.

Um, I've gained weight back after 3 of my 4 pg's. It's a bummer. This time is the worst. I was on the mini-pill for a while but that didn't seem to be the issue. I rarely lose weight while bf'ing.

Only other thought-any possibility of thyroid or diabetic issues?

I'm on the mini also, i havent had any issues but i havent lost weight like i wanted to either however thats cus for some cruel reason i dont lose weight when BFing.
