Re: Just wondering if other parents go through this.

I definitely feel the same way. I had a really good pregnancy with my twins. No bedrest, full term, vaginal birth etc. But I still long for that singleton experience. I want to have the experience of carrying one baby like any other pregnant mom, giving birth at home or at a birth center, and just devoting myself to nuturing the one newborn. I too have only vague memories of the first year, and my twins are about the same age as your triplets. Then I wonder who I am kidding, because I already have twins! I am waiting until I feel called to be the mom of three. I would LOVE to be pregnant, but I'm just not sure I'm ready for three yet.

Dh would definitely agree to another if it was what I truly wanted. Since I'm not sure, I don't bring it up much.

I feel that way often. Especially right after conceiving dd. She is 2 days shy of being EXACTLY 10 years younger than her brother. (They were both due on Sept 10th and both born on Labor Day ). I want another one, but I am on the fence.

we are just allowing God to plan our family size so we are not trying to concieve, but just before my youngest was concieved I had baby fever in the worst way...it was not until I WAS pregnant that I thought I dont think that I want to do this again!

I never felt that indecision with #1 or #2.

However, we've been talking about ttc #3 and I feel very similar to the way you feel. Excited and scared at the same time. I change my mind every day. Or many times a day!! LOL

Re: Just wondering if other parents go through this.

I was all set to TTC and then when we actually were "trying" I got cold feet. But now we're expecting and I'm very happy.

When I got preg. with DD#2 I about flipped out. Emma was only 5 months old and I thought I would lose my mind, but everything has worked out and I love both of my girls!
